Hoopers - Brigantine

This is a lovely family-friendly restaurant. The food was great! We visited on a Saturday night and had to wait about half an hour to be seated. It can get a bit noisy, so I recommend bringing some earplugs. Oh, and it's a BYOB place, which is a nice touch!

I absolutely loved it! The food was incredible, and the service was both attentive and outstanding. The owner even took the time to come out and chat with us. I can't wait to return next year!

To sum it up, my Manhattan Clam Chowder and Parmesan-Crusted Tilapia were outstanding. The chowder was packed with clams and full of flavor, while the tilapia was light and topped with a delightful crispy layer. Both dishes exceeded my expectations. My meal included dessert, but I chose to take a piece of cheesecake home instead. Overall, it was an excellent value; the base price was around $18, with an extra charge for the clam chowder since the special only included the soup of the day. Our server was friendly and mostly efficient, although it took a little longer to settle the bill as the dinner rush was just starting to build. The atmosphere was casual yet of high quality. I look forward to returning many times in the future!

Some of the best Manhattan Clam Chowder on the island! Friendly service and delicious king crab legs! Small little eatery, but charming with checkered table cloths and seaside decor. Service is always friendly, either on the take out side or dine-in. The menu is a little limited compared to another fresh seafood competitor on the island, though they do have more fresh fish in my opinion, as well as a children's menu. They deliver, though I have had a few mix ups here and there. Nothing that wouldn't keep me from returning.

I've been going to this place forever! The menu has changed over the years but I always find a delicious dish! They always give you a bread basket to start and the bread is always good! The shrimp cocktail is just breathtaking. Instead of giving you regular cocktail sauce. they mix it with a Dijon mustard to make a delicious combination! Who knew it would be so good! I usually get the baby lobster tails for my meal. It comes with 3 lobster tails, a salad or soup, and two sides. It making me hungry just writing about it! The service is always great and the atmosphere is very friendly. The prices are a little high but fair. The seafood here is always fresh and tastes great! Give this place a try, best food on the island hands down!
