Írjon visszajelzéstI was here with a group and had pre dinner drinks in the bar each night. We were surprised and delighted to be given a cheese platter and crackers each night. The choice of food on the smorgasbord was varied and everything was delicious.
8 dishes each day something different. This was for breakfast and dinner each day .......amazing at the price they charge for the entire package
Perhaps a Christmas lunch is a poor way to evaluate a restaurant, but if they choose to put one on, then I guess I'm entitled to review it. Bottom line, I thought it was rather ordinary, and worth about half of the $90 they charged. It was a 100% buffet, meaning there was absolutely no table service whatsoever, as to food or wine. The only table service was to remove used dishes. So, one is entitled to evaluate the total experience solely on the basis of the food offered. Some things were good, such as the oysters, which were very fresh. But that's something for congratulations to the un-named oyster supplier — clearly the restaurant had no control over that. Of the things they did have control over, I thought the baked ham, pork, and turkey were pretty ordinary.Anyway, I don't want to continue with petty complaints — my wife and I left dissatisfied, and considered the whole event very bad value for money. At half the $90 price, it might have been tolerable. But at twice the price, everything grated. It was a Christmas experience we have no enthusiasm to repeat.
Met interesting travellers in bar and I liked the cheese and biscuits you could eat while drinking. Although they may have been there for the large golf group staying a week.
We stayed here and had dinner, $28 for 3 courses, no complaints here. The service was excellent and everything very tasty, good home cooking, would come again
