Food Wine Friends - BRIGHT

We eat out, intact we eat out up to six times a week, mostly as a family, we also own a well thought of restaurant so we like to think we know that we are talking about. This place is lovely, an absolute stand out for us, almost entirely due to its genuinely warm staff. The food was lovely and worth returning for alone, the coffee was incredible but the service was outstanding. We are a messy loud group with lots of kids, including babies and prams (we are most establishments worst nightmare), but the guys at Food Wine Friends armed us with babychinos, story books and colouring pencils and didn't bat an eyelid at our loud and enthusiastic toddler. Keep doing what you are doing guys it is unique, genuine and wonderful :)

This wonderful gem of a cafe is under new ownership, although there is continuity as the new owner has worked at FWF for some time. What can I say? Stunning new menu (and new chef), all day breakfast, coffee that is sublime, Milawa artisan breads, local wines and produce available for purchase, a new and exciting focus on mead, warm and cosy, tables and lounges, great service (definitely improved out of sight!), hospitality nights on Tuesdays with Bridge Road beers, ciders and (yup, you guessed it!) mead. I live 100m from this cafe for two years and until now eschewed it for a rival. No more. Hello to my beloved new daily spot of loveliness.

We ate breakfast here. Their food is nice but needs some attention to detail. They weren't busy and dispite asking twice what coffee it'd like it was still wrong. Condiments we're missing from the dish.

Great place for coffee. Food looked at amazing ????. Very busy however service very pleasant. Highly recommend our coffee great neighbours food they all enjoyed.
