Baygarden - Brighton-Le-Sands

"It’s a beautiful place, recently renovated until November 2022. However, they no longer offer a seafood buffet, which is a pity. Their current menu is quite limited, featuring just a few steaks, salmon, and a small selection of appetizers. I ordered two Black Angus steaks, one medium and one medium rare. If you choose to visit, I recommend asking for fresh fries unless you prefer standard French fries, which can be quite hard to chew. One of the steaks was cooked properly, but the other was overcooked. The staff was very nice and friendly, which was the main positive aspect of the restaurant. They do have halal options available."

The steak was fantastic, and our lovely waitress offered some excellent wine recommendations. I live in Brighton and had never been here before, but I will definitely return!

The buffet breakfast was incredibly disappointing. The poached eggs were nearly hard-boiled, and the maple bacon was tough and nearly inedible. The coffee from their machines was indescribably awful; however, I later learned they have a barista, which the staff at the front desk neglected to mention. The only bright spot was the pastries, which were enjoyable, and the fresh fruit was also of good quality. Considering the price of $35 per person, I expected much better service and food than what I experienced.

If you love fresh and cooked crabs, bugs and prawns with nice deserts, good service, great views, not too many people and free parking, then this is the place for you.

Ate there on Friday night and have been for at least 5 years.....disappointed with less variety and food quality, prawns were soft,lobster was smaller than the prawns, supposed hot food was cold oysters were small and paying $109.00each was a big part of the decision of returning to dine.
