Locavore Cafe - Brisbane

Never disappoints! Beautiful food. The whole menu is delicious! Great coffee. Very fresh and inventive. Hands down my favourite place to go out for breakfast in Brisbane! Will return!

Very hip cafe with amazing food. My partner had the porridge which was sticky, sweet, and everything nice, and the orange juice which was that good kind of frothy. My almond milk flat white was pretty good, probably the third best almond milk flat white...in Brisbane, and the lemon myrtle avocado on sourdough (which I added poached eggs to because it's breakfast) was the best avo on toast because the seasoning was perfect. I'll definitely be coming back to do cafe and Jaycar.

Just popped in for a coffee and cake. I drink decaf and and in my experience, if a place makes good decaf you can bet the rest of their coffee is good too. The two coffees I had we delicious and well made. Good strength...for a single shot, with a good crema not always received on a decaf long black. Only criticism is that is was not very hot and I was able to drink it almost immediately in one go. I'm used to my coffee being too hot to drink initially and then being able to sip it slowly as it cools. Brown sugar provided on the table is different, so be warned if you take sugar, you won't need as much as with raw or white sugar. It was also hard to get someone's attention for a second cup. The house made chocolate and raspberry brownie was delicious. Rich and smooth chocolate broken up with the occasional hit of tart raspberry to cut back the sweetness was superb. The only critique I would give is that it is, and I can't believe I'm saying this, too much for one. Great size piece to share for two, but just a quarter too much for one person to comfortably eat. I managed to eat all of mine, but it was a struggle I was willing to make. Nice little cafe that seems fairly popular with local workers, also closes at on the days I was in the area, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

I loved the hearty breakfast that included perfectly cooked bacon, scrambled eggs, whole mushrooms, avocado, haloumi, and Roma tomatoes, along with an extra side of sourdough.
