Summit Restaurant & Bar - Brisbane

The food was fitting for a special occasion, not a luncheon to catch up with friends. Was hoping for a more casual dining experience

Our visit to Summit was unfortunately quite disappointing. Though the views from Mount Coot tha across Brisbane didn’t disappoint, if you’re visiting for these alone you can enjoy them for free from the scenic lookout next door. The food was average undercooked, cold entrees and flaccid pork belly for mains. The plates from our entrees also weren’t cleared until the mains arrived. We were attended to by a surly Asian girl and a friendly young man. Our water was topped once during our visit.

Although not particularly crowded the noise was overwhelming. Three of the four of us are hard of hearing. I could not hear what the waiters and waitresses were saying, even after moving to a quieter table. However, the staff were all very patient and charming.

Food was delicious and good serving sizes, as well as reasonably priced Staff were very welcoming and friendly

We were welcomed warmly.Service was prompt, efficient but not intrusive.We had the Express Menu which you could tailor to your appetite and budget.As it was a weekend you could have 2 courses entree main, or main and dessert or 3 courses (on weekdays you could just have a main course).each course had a choice of four dishes.I had lamb courgettes, salmon and panacotta.Each dish was beautifully presented, hot (entree main), flavoursome and just the right amount.Best meal out for a long time
