Chai Pani Indian Kitchen - Bristol

I visited Achari Indian Kitchen to explore their Indian cuisine, and I was thoroughly impressed. Each dish had its own unique flavor, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. I left the restaurant with a smile on my face and a satisfied stomach. Thank you, Achari, for your excellent service!

Excellent Indian food for beginners. habib, the waiter, manages on his own over 30 diners and many deliveries. take their own alcohol and choose between hanging on the cooking or freezing through the open door. fawlty towers of the restaurant world. brilliant

Dropped in without a booking right in the middle of seemingly all the Xmas parties ever. However the guys sorted us, and my friend and I sat down to a curry which pleasantly surprised me. A bring your own alcohol restaurant, so you'll need to pop into the offlicense around the corner beforehand, the poppadoms are lovely, the mango chutney has just the right spice, and the lime pickle was fantastic. The curry itself, great Chilli Paneer was very good, large chunks of paneer itself, not too oily, but a bit heavy on the onion. Lamb Saag was a treat, but as always, I try to not think about the meat quality (and where it came from) too much by being a bit drunk by the main course. The plain rice was just right, and helped balance the oil in the mains. The restaurant itself was fairy modern for a curry house, but frankly I don't go to a curry house to be wowed by its decor as long as the toilet doesn't look like a slum then it's fine. Pretty sure I'll return, and likely I'll order a takeout.

I just ordered from Deliveroo, and it was really great! This was the best biriyani I've had anywhere! I enjoyed everything, especially the lamb hacks. My only issue was that I had trouble getting the lid off the small sauce container. Overall, it was excellent!

We visited as a group of four and ordered the lamb with eggplant, special kebab korai, chicken dhansak, and eggplant with chickpeas. We wanted to try more dishes dressed in achari, as our meals were incredibly delicious. It was a fantastic experience!
