El Patio Mexican Grill - Bristol

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the tri-cities. By far the best quality and quantity for the price, and the salsa bar is unbeatable! You have to try the mango salsa. I have celiac disease, which makes it hard for me to eat out, but their soft corn tortillas give me a lot of options (they are not labelled specifically gluten free, however). I see several reviewers had issues with the wait time, which is not something I've ever experienced. I think the longest I've ever had to wait was 5-10 minutes when they were understaffed, and once we were seated service was very quick.

They have really, really good food. And I love the salsa bar, especially the white salsa! The people are pleasant, and you get quick service. The only downside is the background music is usually too loud.

Food was great, wrong menu online. Apparently, the menu on the urban spoon is for the El Patio in Bluefield. The menu here in Bristol doesn't really fit. We ordered the participation for date night with friends who have born a new one. The person who took the order tried to guess what they had on the menu that came close to what we looked online. For the most part, it's okay, but the El Patio Sampler online does not exist in Bristol. She exchanged this order for the El Patio Special, which had some interesting supplements (a part looked like a shrimp bigger than my hand filled with ricotta and spinach, but there was no meat in it... the dick was possibly Brocoli? Overall, the food was great and the service was excellent, but I placed an order before me without the paper menu!

Good Mexican cuisine in Bristol. I can't praise the whole menu because I'm really hooked to their Tacos Carne asada and rarely deviate from them. But all I had here is good. Given the other options for Mexico in Bristol, this is by far the best.
