What stands out about this small establishment is primarily its atmosphere and surroundings in which it is set. When it comes to service and what you order, you may be disappointed. The mentioned is executed in almost a student standard. To be specific, if you order an Aperol Spritz, you may get something like grape juice with soda that may have been very close to the Aperol bottle. I would rather bet on a classic here, meaning beer, which is of very good quality, and I believe you will certainly enjoy it here during some interesting artistic performance.

Dear Spacek, you used to be better when it came to food. Fortunately, I am glad to see that you have realized this and have started to do something about it. It is a joy sometimes to look at the daily menu, as I can imagine it will be excellent. Having high-quality, almost top-quality ingredients, friendly and knowledgeable service, excellent wine and beer, and pretty good coffee (from what I've heard, I don't drink it), to then ruin it with a bad idea and execution in the kitchen would be a shame. The atmosphere at Kabaret Spacek exudes authenticity, from the restaurant decor to the friendly service and fresh ingredients. I tried the organic beef burger with gorgonzola and caramelized onions, cooked perfectly medium rare. The quality of the meat was exceptional and the combination of flavors from the juicy meat, onions, and gorgonzola was outstanding. The bun was also excellent, with the perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness. And all of this for just 155 kc? Absolutely fantastic.

There are many reasons to love this gem among Brno's culinary and cultural variety. The building itself reminds of times when that, now central area, used to be on the outskirts of olde Brno. And Špaček does it justice. The menu is locally sourced and largely domestic. One might even say this is what you'd find in grandmas kitchen. No fancy fluff, not overly spiced, not even overly salted. Just honest Czech cuisine. Oh, and they do have vegetarian meals too for those veggies out there! Unfortunately, I haven't had the pleasure to witness any performances on their stage, but I am certain the atmosphere and buzz would be just right one more reason to keep coming back here!

Velice příjemná nekuřácká hospůdka/kavárna pod Pekandou, kam můžete příležitostně zajít i na menší koncert. Zvenku působí velice malince, ale jak psal níže Ammar, vnitřní prostory překvapí. K jídlu jsem zde zatím zkoušela jen těstoviny s pečenou dýní a omeletu s bylinkami a špenátem a obojí bylo velmi dobré. Na své si zde ale přijdou milovníci burgerů, protože těch mají v nabídce několik. Musím pochválit naprosto výtečnou citronádu, která nejenom skvěle chutná a osvěží, ale taky vypadá naprosto skvěle! Na čepu mají skvělý šumavský kout (desítku i čtrnáctku) a také točené limonády (v našem případě to byla Grena). Pokud jste kuřáci, nezoufejte ve vnitřních prostorách najdete kuřárnu nebo můžete posedět na mini zahrádce za kavárnou nebo před kavárnou, kde se sedí až překvapivě příjemně. Požádejte velmi milou obsluhu o popelník a máte po starosti. Už se těším na další příjemnou návštěvu.
