Swell Cafe - BROMLEY

I have been a patron of this cafe for six years. Yesterday, I ordered a takeout egg and bacon sandwich. However, I was given incorrect change for my £20 note and was short changed. When I brought this to their attention, I was made to feel foolish and embarrassed. I will never return to this establishment again. I urge everyone to double check their change, especially when paying with a large note. Additionally, the sandwich was not worth the £14.70 I was charged.

I sat down at a table in the cafe, which was only half full, but was asked to move to a smaller table. I have never been asked to move in a cafe before, so I declined and decided to leave. I went to The Tea Tree Cafe instead, where I could sit wherever I wanted along with everyone else, even though it was quite busy. I don't understand the logic of refusing definite business for the sake of potential business. It was a really silly decision in my opinion.

The service at this restaurant is excellent, with a fantastic staff who are always friendly. I have never had a reason to complain and would highly recommend it to others.

Rude waitress. State Cumberland sausages on menu. Made change to vegetarian got cheap alternative sausage not Cumberland. Forgot bread and butter for 2 breakfasts. Staff not wearing masks at all. Should be wearing them when approaching customers tables. Still charged full price, not a pleasant experience. Came away feeling sick after eating there

Wow, so pleasantly surprised. Went there today for breakfast, expecting it to be another bog standard greasy spoon. However, none of that the café was very clean and airy the staff warm and friendly. Our breakfasts were huge! The menu had many special deals, which included toast and coffee and the food was so well cooked, with no sign of oil of fat! We highly recommend.
