Ohana - BRONX

Very nice place!!! The music was perfect and the bartender was a professional. We were looking out the door checking out the outdoor deck and she offered us a seat outside( even tho it was not ready for the public). They made cleaned up a table and sat us outside and made it clear that we were the very first customers to sit, eat, and drink back there. Thank you for ur experience !!! This was a great experience . The way they season their noodles are so good. Better than all of the other Japanese places. The cook looked like a kid but he did the job in making the food. Everything was delicious, hubby had the Filet Mignon and I had the Filet Mignon with Shrimps. Shrimp tempura for an appetizer, white rice instead of fried.our cook put little if any butter on our food and I can tell you it was not missed at all. The ginger sauce was the best we've had in a long time although I felt the mustard sauce had no taste. The soup was very tasty the ginger salad dressing was good however their tempura coating on the shrimp tempura needs work, it was too stiff instead of being light and fluffy. All restaurants need to add more mushrooms yo their vegetable mix. The food was sooo good. THEY have an outdoor seating as you're walking in and in the back seating with umbrellas and a bar that seems like you can have your own private party. I loved it and will be back for their delicious noodles and try other food.

I absolutely adore this place!!! I used to visit the one in City Island, but now I often go to the one in Tremont. Gavin, the bartender, is fantastic! His drinks never let me down. The food is consistently excellent! My favorites are the hibachi steak dinner and the cherry blossom cocktail.

I'm thrilled to have discovered this little gem in the Bronx! Since SPOTOS closed, we hadn't found a replacement family spot… until now. Let me start by saying the service is fantastic! Everyone is incredibly polite, and you really feel like royalty as soon as you enter. Your glass of water never goes empty, and you'll be entertained throughout your visit. It's a bit on the pricey side, but you definitely get your money's worth with the delicious food and excellent service.

I believe this restaurant is excellent! The portions are quite generous! Personally, I prefer it over Benihana. The steaks are delicious, and everything is great with quick service. I would say that, given the location, it is a bit overpriced, but you do get what you pay for.
