Sammy's Fish Box - BRONX

Very friendly service, chill atmosphere and very good seafood.

First the waiter was very impatient, didn’t take the time to explain nothing. He had a nasty attitude. The food was horrible and looks unappealing. There is these big platters with tasteless and unattractive food.

One of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. Waited 30 minutes just to have a waiter greet us and took over an hour and a half to get our food. Will never be dining here again.

We were very displeased with Sammy's. They did not have our reservation. We got there about 4 pm and were not served our dinner until 6 pm. There were four of us. My husband and I got our food first and the other couple never got their food. When we were almost done eating, I asked for the manager to complain. The manager went to the kitchen to find out what happened and brought them their meal, which they rightfully refused. She offered to have one meal free, but they were so annoyed that they told her to send it back to the kitchen. Our waiter never came to our table to see if we had gotten our food. He waited until half an hour after we ordered to tell us that they were out of crab cakes although three of us had ordered crab cakes. We drove two hours to get there and left extremely disappointed. We will never go to Sammy's again.

Awesome outing at the fish box with the family. Unbelievable staff, making the kids feel at home. Nice job guys! Keep up the great work.
