Ernie’s Wine Eats - BRONXVILLE

A hidden gem in plain sight. I can’t say enough about this place and the staff, even after a single visit. It’s a warm, cozy place with low lighting making for a perfect comfortable, intimate atmosphere. The staff was fantastic and from the moment we walked in, everyone was welcoming, always pleasant, quick and accommodating. They’re, clearly, a hard-working bunch. Although it’s on the smaller side, I’d count that as a plus. They’ve managed the space well, allowing for a variety of group sizes. In addition, there’s a private room that seats ten that can be closed off with sliding doors. The bar area occupies the rear wall and allows both the bar and dinner patrons to enjoy the LIVE music on Wednesday nights. DON’T miss the live music. This is a great space to eat, sip and listen. You’ll enjoy yourself. The menu offers plenty of choices as does their extensive wine list. The daily specials, featuring more than the usual handful of choices, was more like a menu unto itself. We had a cheese board with our wine during happy hour and then moved on to the Lobster Ravioli special and a Quinoa Salad for dinner. Everything was really delicious. Don’t miss out on this place. It checks all the boxes. Delicious food and wine. Wonderful atmosphere. Great service. We’ll definitely be back.

Wow. Avoid this place if you’re not a Bronxville resident. Didn’t feel welcomed by this short, muscular “entity” who muscled customers. Definitely not something we want in Bronxville. Many other customers had the same impression. Please get them out of our neighborhood Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Hi, I went to Ernie’s on trivia night with some friends . We had so much fun the food and drinks were delicious. The owner made us feel special and catered to all our needs . Bronxville residents have been soooo lucky to have this gem. Some coworkers and I walked in unexpectedly on Trivia Night. It was a great night!!!! The wine was divine and so was the food!!!! OMG the cheese board was to die over, its always my favorite appetizer. There were a few guys there who may have had too much to drink, made us a bit uncomfortable but the owner fixed things right away. Other than that, looks like I’ll be heading to Ernie’s every Tuesday for Trivia. Maybe I’ll win next time!! LOL
