The Purple Onion Montclair

Not sure why they aren’t open late night like the others. Really the only time I would get purple onion. Also every time I get a wrap from them they skimp on the meat. Like every time! Definitely not like the original PO which is

I had been afraid to try this new location due to the ratings, but now that I finally got around to it, I have been pleasantly surprised both times. Highly recommend the kafta plate it was perfect, and plenty of food. The kafta burger is also good, but I found the bun a good bit bigger than the patty. Fries are good too. Tons of vegetarian options. Great addition to the neighborhood.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options: falafel pita, falafel plate, hummus, babaganouj, tabouli, Greek salad (probably can get with falafel), garden burger, shroom burger, various baked potato options, veggie kabob.

Rude workers. Got my order wrong and when I informed them they told me I was wrong. They wouldn’t change my order or give me my money back. They barely understood my order or what I was saying. So they have me what they wanted me to have. I would not recommend!!

I had the gyro lunch special. Really good. I'm looking forward to having it again.

I went here for lunch and the food just was not good. I asked for mint tea and I am not sure what I was given. I asked for a replacement beverage and it still was not good. I used to be a huge fan of purple onion but I have not been impressed with the quality of the food lately.Parking: Very convenient.
