Írjon visszajelzéstBRING BACK THE ORIGINAL MAC AND CHEESE! I used to buy it all the time; it was the best, and I'm quite picky about my food. Recently, I purchased the mac and cheese again, and as soon as I opened it, there was a strange smell. The taste was so disappointing that I couldn't finish a single bite. Also, please bring back the original crunchy fries! They were fantastic, but now we have soft crinkle-cut fries, which are just not the same. On a positive note, the mashed potatoes side is still great—don't change that! The restaurant used to be fantastic, but with these new changes, it's unfortunately going downhill. UPDATE: The famous mac and cheese is back! It’s delicious, and everyone should give it a try!
The person at the counter had no issue vaping while preparing my to-go order. I won't be returning.
Some items, like the fresh burgers, are decent, but other staples like the mashed potatoes are disappointing. They also frequently run out of popular items, such as the jalapeño bites. There are other chicken places in the area with much better food, but they were too far for me to walk that evening. Lately, there’s been an unpleasant smell in the restaurant, reminiscent of a New York City subway during the pandemic. To address this, they even have an automatic air freshener on the counter, which I find concerning considering how close it is to the food preparation area. It’s clear they need it to mask the odor, which suggests some patrons might not have regular access to showers or clean clothes. If you’re extremely hungry and looking for cheap food, I suggest going for a hamburger and fries. Just steer clear of the chicken, especially later in the day when it has been sitting out for a while. And be prepared for the mashed potatoes to taste like cardboard.
If you're going to the Brooklyn Mirage on a late night, this is a great spot to visit afterwards. They have great chicken over rice.
