Nation's Burger Station - Browning

We stopped in this town while heading to Kalispell and decided to grab a couple of burgers from the drive-thru. We didn’t even notice there was an option to dine in; we just saw a line of cars and went along with it. The prices were reasonable, and the food was tasty and offered a unique twist with the burger on fry bread. We enjoyed our meal at a picnic table outside, which made for a pleasant break from our drive.

During our recent visit, our family was quite disappointed with our order. The special hot fudge brownie sundae sounded tempting, but it ended up being a total letdown. It was overly sweet and had an artificial taste, and to our surprise, there was hardly any brownie in it! The few small brown bits present didn't taste like brownie at all. To try to improve our experience, we also ordered a huckleberry shake, but it unfortunately didn’t fare any better. Like the sundae, it was excessively sweet and artificial in flavor. We also ordered curly fries and waited for more than 25 minutes without any updates on our order. Frustrated by the long wait and the absence of the fries, we decided to leave without ever tasting them. Therefore, we can’t comment on their quality. Overall, our visit was very disappointing. We were hoping for a delightful treat but left feeling unsatisfied.

I’ve dined here several times over the past three years. Given the limited options in Browning, I assume the owners don’t feel pressured by competition. However, I’m not interested in hearing excuses about delayed delivery trucks or staff absenteeism. This restaurant needs to improve. The food is decent but nothing to write home about. It’s also quite overpriced for what you receive, and the portions are generally on the smaller side. The most frustrating part, though, is the excessively long wait times for drive-up service. There’s no reason it should take an hour to get three cars through the drive-thru.

Nice young people serving food here and they are pretty kind. Food is very very MEH. Oily, thin patties, highly processed everything. The kind of food that makes your nauseous after eating it. Wouldn’t have gone if not totally desperate and nothing else around.

Pleased that they offer a veggie burger (loaded with fixings, mmmm! . Not to be missed if you find yourself in Browning.
