Montezuma's Browns Plains

Unfortunately, this restaurant has closed. It was never the best Montezumas, mostly because the space that it occupied was a multi purpose space and had no ambiance. Because of the large windows, it felt like eating in a fishbowl. Much could have been done to enhance the experience, but in a rented retail space, no doubt there were too many restrictions.

Very tasty meals. good sizes. excellent mexican flavours. Staff are friendly. Cater for kids well, our daughter was given a colouring picture and crayons to do while we waited for our meals. However the toys provided for kids near the counter area were in a need of a good clean.

Even though the decor is gorgeous and colourful, I haven't returned because the food was average and service was mediocre. I enjoy authentic mexican food and was happy when I saw one was opening in browns plains but was disappointed

If this restaurant wants to succeed, they should consider hiring Mexican chefs as they excel in cooking and presenting food. The service was good, but the overall quality and presentation of the dishes could be improved.

I am a lover of authentic mexican food and i do enjoy montezumas i find their prices expensive. This particular restaurant is clean and serves a good meal
