Jack In The Box - Brownsville

The food was terrible, the service was abysmal, and there were insects by the drink fountain.

I've never had any issues at this restaurant until today. I understand that there was a misunderstanding with my order at the drive-thru, but when I went to pick up my food, I asked for both the sauce and my receipt. She only handed me the sauce, so I waited and mentioned again that I needed my receipt. Her response was dismissive; she said she was already done and rolled her eyes when she finally handed it to me, clearly irritated.

Whomever the franchise owner is at this location has failed their employees and the customers. Morning cashier Paola acts like the sauces she gives you are taken right from her check, as if asking for sauces will make a break the business. I asked for a receipt and was told the restaurant ran out of paper. When I asked to cancel the order since a receipt will not be provided Paola magically found a roll of receipt paper. I asked for strawberry jelly and was told they don't have any. Be cautious as this location's drive thru menu prices are different than what the Cashier charges you. The owner was already provided this information and vowed to fix it and hasn't in the 3 or 4 months since bringing it to their attention. The owner of this location is clearly pinching pennies and has placed enough fear in his employees to try and offset these costs with there actions. I feel sorry for Paola, her Manager and all her coworkers that put up with this behavior from their employer. Clearly Jack in the box corporate needs to intervene, assess and make hard decisions to correct this abusive behavior of employees at this location.

Sat 9:15-out of coffee and ice. Sat in line for 25 minutes behind 2 cars waiting for orders to come out. Guy taking orders couldn't repeat any orders correctly. Asked me what I ordered when it was finally my turn. Luke warm food, no napkins.

The cashier on the drive through didn't give me a receipt, even though I asked for it, she still ignored me, just went on the being on the headphones, I didn't get straws for our drinks, I just left, obviously she wasn't going to listen, she had closed the window. How rude.
