Toddle Inn - Brownsville

This restaurant has been established for years, and I visited based on a recommendation from a reliable local. The service was outstanding, and the prices were incredibly reasonable. The owner was present and very welcoming; he even treated us to some complimentary strawberry banana pancakes, probably because we had a table full of kids. The real highlight, though, was the flour tortilla. It truly stole the show. You have to try a breakfast taco here—the flour tortilla is something that will linger in my memory forever. I'm already contemplating a trip to Brownsville just to enjoy it again.

Delicious! I ordered the Migas Monterrey and it didn’t disappoint! The tortilla pieces were perfectly crispy and curly, not soggy at all. They weren't greasy like they had just come out of a fryer. The refried beans and salsa were bursting with flavor. I visited on a Monday morning and the place was packed! The prices were reasonable. I definitely recommend it!

The customer service at this restaurant is outstanding. We were a group of four and tried a range of dishes. Everything was very good, but I was a bit let down by my French toast. While it tasted nice, the bread was not what I anticipated—it was just a standard slice of white bread. I would recommend using thicker slices of bread like brioche, French baguette, or challah. Aside from this minor personal preference, everything was wonderful. I would definitely return. The other dishes were fantastic, the place is very clean, and the customer service is top-notch.

Service superb as breakfast! Like celebrating the Mother's Day one day, we can have a pleasant time together. Toddle was my mother's choice. Thanks for a great service and great food that you made my mother feel good and relaxed.

After eating here you will want to come back. You will see as I saw that the environment of the workers is friendly. Mark Perez (Manager and Part Owner) not only shows the upmost professionalism but you can see the dedication he has not only for his restaurant but for his staff. Helping cook, helping clean doing anything he can to help everyone around him. The restaurant and workers were clean and organized. All of the food looks appetizing and fresh. Not to mention very reasonably priced. I want to respectfully thank Mark Perez and Cecy (Our waitress) for making it special and making me feel at home. Thank you both for making my Birthday Rememberable.
