Walk in was denied seating because of a new chef was limited over 1/2 the tables were empty,,, no thanks to this place!!!! Can't handle 2 people on walk in, said!! Went to the Greek place Tavern Knonie,, who was half full in tables and full bar available , who told use to wait on the street to see if they have anything available,,, so ent to The Great Empasta who was full was told only 5-10 mins who did seat use very nicely!!! Service: 1

We had such a wonderful meal here tonight! We sat at the high top at the window,really enjoyed the cosy atmosphere and the white lights and beautiful lighting throughout. Our server Jackson was great! Excellent recommendations, we had the bruschetta,stuffed mushrooms and mini gyros-everything was so delicious! Highly recommend and can’t wait to return! Lovely small Italian Mediterranean Restaurant Eclectic small menu Nice wine and beer selection by the glass options. Appetizers were almost meal size. We shared Arancini stuffed w cheese and veggies as well mini gyros Would have been enough as dinner. Warm Broccoli Arrostiti was good, but could have been actually warm and needed a bit more dressing. Added eggplant slice was best part. Insalata Classico ordinary Chicken Marsala A plus Will return Excellent wait staff Dietary restrictions: Several GF options Salad and Chicken Marsala

My husband, our 1 year old son, and I went for an early dinner at Enoteca Athena this past Wednesday evening. We had been at the beach all day and our son had missed a nap. He is usually great at restaurants if we go early enough but I think the day’s activities had worn him out. He was playing it off well and acting like his usual self for the first 20 minutes or so. We got drinks and ordered our food. But then started the whining. Which soon escalated to all out tears. We attempted to placate him with a couple of toys we had brought, and even by putting his favorite show on one of our phones (on mute of course . It was no use. We were headed straight into wailing territory. We alerted our waitress (bummed I can’t remember her name, she was wonderful , and let her know we’d need everything to go. We had JUST received our appetizers. She was as gracious and understanding as could be as I whisked our screaming child outside so my husband could wait for the food and the bill. Hubby emerged from the restaurant a short while later (I think they even sped up the cooking of our order! and let me know that someone the waitress refused to tell him who paid for our entire meal. I could be dead wrong, but something about it made me think it may have been the owner. Whoever it was, was probably just glad to get the screaming kid out of the joint! We took our food home, everything was ABSOLUTELY delicious, and we were oh so grateful to everyone at Enoteca Athena for treating us so well in a rather stressful and embarrassing situation. But I’m sure we’re not the first parents to go through this We will most definitely be back!! And will get a babysitter next time
