J. Cody's Steak And Barbeque - Bryan

We enjoyed lunch at J. Cody's, and the food was outstanding. I ordered the chicken thigh plate, and it was absolutely delicious. The endless sides bar was fantastic, particularly the creamed corn. Everything was delightful. The service and atmosphere were incredibly welcoming.

We placed an order, but it seems our ticket wasn't recognized until we arrived to pick it up. Our food ended up being ready 30 minutes later than the scheduled pickup time. I had promised myself that I wouldn't write a review unless it was negative, so here we are. The brisket was dry and lacked flavor after sitting under a heat lamp all afternoon. The ribs were tough and had no hint of smoke flavor. The side dishes were decent—new potatoes and a fairly standard salad. Just be cautious about waiting too long. I really wanted to enjoy this place.

J. Cody's is my favorite BBQ place in town. You'll never be disappointed with anything off the menu. My favorite is the chopped brisket sandwich. The fries are hand cut in house. Just go, you'll love it too!

One of my favorite dining spots in B/CS! The service is consistently excellent, everything on the menu is incredibly delicious, and they have an amazing vegetable bar. I'm especially fond of the Cody Corn!

Everything I have ever eaten at J Cody's has been excellent. The sides and Jalapeno cornbread are fantastic. The Staff there is also great, very prompt and friendly. You go J Cody's, keep up the good work.
