The biscuits were hot and ready for butter and jam. The salad was the low point of the entire meal with too much arugula for my taste. The chicken pot pie was also massive and very tasty. The cherry rhubarb never fails to impress and the pie had to be boxed for later. No room left, I am afraid. A shout out to the boysenberry beer for its subtle taste and low bubbles. It is definitely worth a taste. Our server, Billy, handled the lunch crowd like a champ and tended to us like a pro.
Food was decent , gravy needs improvement, corn on the cob instead of kernel corn. The thing I couldn't get over was a soft drink , Diet Coke you charged $6.99!!!!! That's just outright stupid, kinda makes me want to eat elsewhere.
Great service. Food was excellent and filling! Fresh and hot. The only thing was that our first server was replaced during our time there. And when we asked for our bill, he did provide it but walked away. We didn't know he was to obtain our funds to pay, so we had another server track him down. We will be back in the future, but will have our server obtain our funds. Thank you.
I feel like for some fried chicken and a cheeseburger $70, not including tip, was a bit much. It was fun for the experience but I didn't feel like I had great service. I never got a refill on my drink and I had to go look for someone to get my check. I do realize that were very busy. Everyone was very friendly but I wouldn't do it again.
I grew up going to the chicken house and was excited to go again since I live out of state but sadly the experience was less than amazing. We waited over 2 hours due to them supposedly losing our ticket, and when they finally brought out the food things were missing or wrong, so we ended up just leaving. Recommending is kind of hard at the moment because we have had nothing but good experiences in the past and there can be bad days, but taking over 2 hours to realize that a party of 6 doesn't have their food is very hard to overlook.
