Wegmans - Buffalo

This store is impeccably clean. Deli counter equipped for service with well trained, knowledgable employees and a broad selection of meats to choose from.Bakery goods are SO fresh and truly delicious. Breads, baked in house are packaged, shelved and quite often still warm from the oven.Customer Service at this location is exceptional.

It's the Wegmans on Alberta. Decent prices, crowded every second of the day. Curbside is nice, and the Wegmans app is pretty easy to use. Try ordering your groceries online, if you don't already!

This is the best grocery store in the country. The best products and the best selection of specialty items. I have never had a bad experience at this store. So with high quality products, fresh produce, fresh fish an excellent bakery, meals and soup to go and happy knowledgeable and helpful employees Wegmans is the place to go.

Just left Wegmans and the cashier just threw my groceries in 2 bags. Everything was all over the place just thrown in their. Of course the one bag was very heavy and the bag ripped wide open as I entered the house. Also, instead of the clerk asking me what was in my donut bag she opened it up. Like I'm going to steal a donut. I just got done working 10 hours 4 of them outside in the cold. So, I figured instead of having to wait in line and ring my own groceries up i would go in line. Maybe if the cashier in 16 items or less line did not have 4 inch fake nails my groceries would have been packed correctly! I'm done with Wegmans!

I have been shopping at Wegmans the majority of my life (here in the Buffalo area and in Syracuse and Rochester I have lived in all 3). I love Wegmans. If I were to relocate and leave Buffalo (I actually live in East Amherst) I would probably check for Wegmans wherever I plan to go. I especially like orderable and grab and go foods. I love the baked goods especially the artisan breads. I love the wide cheese/dairy section selections. Their prices of milk are really reasonable. The fruits and veggies I buy all the time but they really need to pay attention to the quality of what they have out. I have seen bags of oranges that are starting to rot and stink, asparagus that is bad and smelly, and herbs that really shouldn't be on the shelves to start with. So buyer beware and check what you are picking up. The meats are generally great but I wish some of their cuts I e. pork chops, chicken breasts weren't so huge. My other main complaint is the general shelf brand limited selection. I have started to rely on Tops for some things (even though they are generally pricier). In general with careful shopping I still like Wegmans and will never stop shopping there but I think they have lost some of the attention to detail they used to have in the past. I feel that sometimes when you expand too fast this is one of the things that can happen.
