Domino's Pizza - Buford

I ordered a pizza last week and loved it, so I decided to make it my regular choice. That turned out to be a big mistake. Today, I ordered two pizzas, and after waiting 20 minutes past the expected delivery time, I called the restaurant. Their recording stated that my pizza was out for delivery, but when I spoke to a staff member, he told me it had just been made and would be leaving shortly. After another 20 minutes with no update, I tried to cancel the order. They didn’t answer the phone at first, so I kept calling until they finally picked up. By that time, it was over an hour after I placed my order, and my pizzas still hadn’t even left the restaurant. There were no apologies or any attempt to keep my business. At this point, I think it might be another decade before I give them another chance.

This is the second time my husband has ordered from here online, and he had to wait 2.5 hours for his order to be delivered to his job, which is just a short distance away! I understand that delivery drivers are scarce and they may be understaffed, but that doesn't excuse the lack of a better response from the restaurant. It's frustrating that the customer service agents on the phone have to bear the brunt of the complaints when the pizza makers should be held accountable. I strongly advise against spending your money here—you will likely be disappointed. I've suggested that he either get food from nearby before work or bring lunch from home. This situation is completely unacceptable.

The pizza was prepared nearly an hour before it left the store. By the time it arrived, it was dry and crusty, so it went straight to the trash. The app offered a choice of a medium pizza, where I’d end up paying taxes and a second tip to the driver, or a 20% discount on a future order which I have no intention of placing. I want my money back, not more subpar pizza. I just wasted $24 because this location cooks pizzas an hour before a driver is ready. The delivery driver was friendly, but that was the only positive aspect of the experience.
