Ihop - Buford

I definitely overordered. I think I went for pancakes, an omelet, and a Philly cheesesteak. I’ll blame it on the alcohol. The portions were massive. I remember feeling like the food soaked up all the booze in me, and suddenly everything felt perfect again.

When it comes to IHOP locations, this one stands out above the rest. The servers are eager to make sure you have a great experience, and the food is consistently well-prepared.

We started with mozzarella sticks, which arrived hot and freshly made. The cheese had a lovely stretch to it, and even my child, who usually avoids cheese, was tempted to give it a try! The steak burger was juicy and actually looked like the picture, standing tall on the plate. It could have used a bit more spice to elevate the flavor, though. The onion rings were deliciously crispy. As for the breakfast sampler, it had all the typical breakfast items, and the pancakes were nice and fluffy. The kids' meal had chicken tenders that were a touch dry, but the waffles were tasty! Overall, we had an enjoyable meal and the prices were reasonable. I just wish the interior of the restaurant felt a bit more modern and didn’t have that old building smell.

We haven’t been to IHOP in ages and today we are wonderful why…. We had a great breakfast (served by Jamie Lynn). I also love that it’s locally owned by the Oys family! Good job done!

Quick Stop for breakfast on our way home from visiting Georgia. Friendly staff and food came out quick and delicious
