Castaways Store & Cafe - BULWER

I just returned home after spending 3 weeks camping at Moreton Island, and I am very sad to leave this beautiful place. I thought I would miss my morning coffee, but the staff at Castaways did not disappoint. I also tried their huge burgers, which were delicious, and the kids enjoyed the chips and gravy. The chocolate brownies were amazing, the best I have ever tasted, and I will definitely return to visit again. The friendly staff, especially Sam, went above and beyond to ensure my family and friends had a great time. We will certainly be back to Castaways on our next holiday. Thank you for everything, Sam - I can't wait to get the brownie recipe!

The staff at this restaurant were fantastic and extremely friendly. The prices for the food were very reasonable and the atmosphere was welcoming. The chef was very kind and even offered us a complimentary brownie to sample. I strongly recommend this establishment.

I haven't even left yet, but I feel the need to express how delighted Castaways has made me. I chose to "glamp" and am extremely satisfied with the accommodation. The surroundings are incredibly beautiful, the kitchen area is fantastic, and the meal packs provided are always fresh and diverse. I have lacked nothing throughout the entire holiday as the staff has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure my well-being. When traveling alone, having such friendly staff makes the experience even more memorable. A special thank you to Nathan and his team for a wonderful stay, I will definitely return.

A special thanks to Nathan and Sam, possibly the two most helpful people I have met. Helped me out in a bind and let me use their computer for two hours, amazing. It's not often that you find true genuine people on holidays. Well done guys, you run an awesome shop and make an even better burger. Have been coming to Morton for twenty years and you are the best bunch ever that has run this shop.

Had lunch at castaways yesterday...was delicious!! Fresh cooked to perfection...staff were amazing, so friendly welcoming couldn't have asked for a better experience!! Would definitely stop back again recommend to everyone!!
