The Bayview Bar - Bunbury

Decided to try out this restaurant after reading that it had won the best steak sandwich competition in WA. Location was great, good views, but it was a wet and miserable day. Very foggy, but still interesting o watch the rain. As for the meal, it was well presented, the chips were nice and crispy, a little too much salt, but shaking the wire basket soon got rid of the excess salt. Steak was lovely and tender, cooked beautifully, Turkish bread was fresh and soft. Sauce was rather salty, relish was ok, but I would prefer a bit more.Would I consider it the best in the State? No, in my opinion. I have had better, but then, we all have different tastes.

Not our choice of place to go lunch yesterday but just rushing to eat, and decided to go try this restaurant again even though some not very good experience before. Also heard that they have a new chef almost getting a trophy with a burger dish. However, food-wise not much surprise. The pizza was serving cold, not even warm. The prawns and squids as the topping were under-cooked. The pear and walnut salad was quite OK except the walnut was just tiny and not in whole or half piece. The salad greens was fresh though.

I am a local and have not been to the Bayview Bar since it opened, now new owners and management and re branded. Decided to try it out and the food was great. It has been renovated and looks fresh an the view is spectacular. I had the Steak sandwich and my partner a pizza, highly recommend both.

Went there for a surprise birthday. They catered really well for our party. The food was good on par to pub food. I think the service was average to not that good. The view is superb and allows to daydream while you wait for your food to arrive.

Well, I have to say on the behalf of my wife, children and grand children. We had an amazing dinner on 15/7/17, the young lady attending to us was so lovely, a constant smile and such brilliant service, nothing was too hard. It's the best food and service we had and recommend Bayview and it's staff too anyone. Thank you
