Chicken Express - Burleson

We were informed that there was no engraving available, so we made a change to our order, which wasn't an issue. I ordered gizzards and was told we would need to wait for them to be freshly prepared. That was fine with us, so we went next door to grab a drink while we waited. Upon our return, we were really impressed by Anne's attentive customer service—she recognized our car and promptly brought out our order. We were also pleasantly surprised to find fresh gravy included in the bag when we got home. Overall, we'll definitely be coming back!

The food was excellent. I initially had concerns when I noticed that the ice machine was made of ice and that there were no forks or straws available. However, the staff were very accommodating and provided me with ice and forks from the back. For some reason, though, I still don't have bins for the other customers.

The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel like you're visiting a friend's home (though you still have to pay). The food is fresh, with the chicken being a standout. I've never had a bad meal here.
