Sotiris Restaurant - Burlington

Food was delicious but found it strange they would bring out the entrees before we were done our appetizers. Would be a nice venue for a wedding.

HUGE portions always.The large dinners are exactly that.

The last time we visited Sotiris they were still on Plains Road and the food was excellent. Now they are in a new, fancy building, but the food quality/taste has slipped considerably. My Greek Village Salad was generous and excellent, with lots of black olives, but from there things went downhill. My souvlaki was just so-so and my wife reported that her gyro dinner was mediocre. My daughter did not rave about hers either. We can't complain about the service - we were seated promptly and drinks were offered right away. Our server was very friendly and present when needed. However, the food will not entice us to drive to Burlington again.

We had an extremely negative experience at this restaurant . We decided to take some guests from out of town there for dinner. We used to love this restaurant years ago but it has gone downhill and it appears that management does not care. Our waiter was cocky and the slowest server I have ever experienced !! We were seated at the table and given menus by the hostess but did not see our waiter for another 15 mins. We placed drink and appetizer orders and again waited 20 mins for them as well. The food was even longer and to get the bill I had to flag the waiter down.Our last 2 visits to this restaurant 3 years ago were also very disappointing but we decided to give them another chance. It appears that management does not care about the negative reviews so we will not be going back to Sotiris Restaurant. There are lots of wonderful restuarants in Burlington, try somewhere else !
