Irie Jerk Hut #1 - Burnham

My friend and I ordered the chicken dinner with two sides and it came with rice and beans and we have an additional page of candied yams. It was definitely a lot of food, but everything tasted under seasoned. The Mac n cheese was out and the cabbage was dirty. The candied yams and chicken were the only decent parts of the meal (my bf is not true). The rice and the beans were okay, but none of the food was good enough to bring me back. We spent $35 on two meals n we were both disappointed. Customer service was great, unfortunately the food was not.

Food is good, but the sides leave a lot to be desired. Don't waste your time on the mac and cheese. It's horrible. Also, you might want to call ahead and make sure you add about 15 minutes to whatever time they say your order will be ready.Food: 3/5

If you tried any j chicken in the Chicagoland area, forget what you heard and what you think you know and come get spoiled by over overly abundant servings for a more than fair price. Try the fries and experience the j ribs!

Staff had terrible attitude and was very rude and dismissive while I was picking up my mobile order. Will not be patronizing this establishment again. Customers service goes a long way. It’s already too much darkness in the world. Nobody needs to experience this while picking up food that they paid for.
