It sells an average range of pub beers and spirits and isn't much different to many other pubs you could visit in the area. The decor is a tad on the old and tired side but the pub really comes into its own when it comes to live music. During the Burnley Rhythm and Blues festival this is one of the best pubs to catch a wide range of bands and best of all it's free. Even outside of festival times, you'll often find live music at the Coach and Horses so despite the general averageness of this pub, it's worth a visit if you're a music fan looking for a good night out.
The Coach and Horses was the first pub I ever visited as a fully fledged 18 year old and that was many years ago and whilst I have changed the pub hasnt and when we live in a world of constant change this is a comforting thing. If you are looking for a posh designer pub then this isnt for you but if you are looking for a place to have a quiet drink and a good night out then it definitely is the place for you
Got to be the best place for all over 30s to finish a weekend night out. drink till you want to go home and no kids spoiling your entertainment
