Ponderosa - Burton

My son took me to dinner and it was horrible. We had buffet and the food was dried out and there were small children in all the food and dessert bar and everything was messed together, looks like it could be alot cleaner in there. We came hungry after it cost us over 20.00 dollars for dinner.

My husband and two daughters took me to Ponderosa for Mother 's Day. The hostess that took our order was great! However, as soon as we sat down, a young waitress began discussing with her co-worker how she felt like she was going to puke all over someone 's shoes. Very appetizing, huh? I asked her to please stop. Soon, our server, Theresa brought my husband 's steak to him. I knew that mine would take longer, because I had ordered my salmon to be well done, and on the dry side (I know, I am strange! . When she brought mine out 10 minutes later, my fries were burnt and the salmon was not done. I was then told that only the fries were supposed to be well done. I asked her to please have them cook the salmon more. When she brought it the second time, it was burnt with black char completely covering the whole thing, and amazingly, the same fries as the last time, but now cold. I asked the manager, if he could please cook another piece of salmon for me, I just wanted it drier than normal, not burnt, and I didn 't want the fries well done. Fifteen minutes later, my whole family was done eating and ready to go, and I still didn 't have my dinner that I had paid for. I again requested the manager to ask for the price of my dinner back and he told me that he would give me one dollar back on the eleven dollar dinner. Now, mind you....I didn 't eat because I was waiting on the dinner that I had specifically ordered. Our waitress never refilled drinks or took the dishes from the rest of my family off the table, and basically ignored us. I told the manager that if one dollar was all he could do, even though I never got the food that I paid for, then to keep it and we wouldn 't be back. He said ok and I left. This took place at the Ponderosa on Court St. across from Courtland Center in Burton, MI. I hope no one else has this type of experience.
