Summerhouse Bakery - Burton upon Trent

What a beautiful place! We first visited with a Groupon voucher for afternoon tea with my parents. The homemade sandwiches were excellent, and the scones were enormous and fresh (I usually don’t like scones, but these were delightful), served with a generous helping of jam and clotted cream. We even took home a large piece of cake! My parents loved the quirky tables and chairs, as well as the unique teacups and teapots, all of which added to the charm of the place. I had quiche and salad, which were just to my liking. I definitely plan to go back, perhaps to try their lunch special. The staff is also very friendly!

The staff are consistently polite and efficient, and the tables are adorned with beautiful tablecloths. The restaurant is spotless, and the extensive menu that includes breakfast, dinner, and a wide variety of homemade cakes is always perfect. There’s also a great selection of drinks that caters to everyone’s tastes. I really love going there, though not as often as I’d like. It's a great place to catch up with friends, as I often do.

This is a beautiful spot to enjoy a drink and some cake. They also serve an excellent breakfast. I highly recommend them! The staff and service are top-notch; I give it a 5-star rating!

Beautiful food, cakes people! Defiantly worth a visit into the market hall for. Such a good variety of cakes and brilliantly prices!
