Firstly there is no seating here or maybe not yet,not sure who's taking over next door which use to be subway The fried teriyaki sauce chicken was delicious but as I usually say, what fried isn't! Greens beans and stewed pork rice both were nice also Food feels like it takes a little long to come out Prices are cheap but you get what you pay for! There green beans and stewed pork rice were small in size Come here if you don't mind eating it take away
Very unassuming place just opposite Cha Time at Burwood road. In fact both are owned by the same group. If you buy any item at cheerscut burwood you got some discount at their cha Time Burwood store. We ordered their Bento set which comprises of crispy chicken with sauce if your choice. We chose teriyaki sauce, hard boiled egg string beans and steamed rice with minced pork which are all staples in Taiwanese street food. The Crispy chicken is actually better than the hot star chicken as it's less salty and less crumbly. We'll definitely buy more from cheers cut from now on.
After trying the outlet in the city, I wanted to give this one a go. The food served here is your typical Taiwanese fried food including chicken and squid. There are other items like mushrooms, rice, and vegetables. This was a hole in the wall outlet with no seating and only serving takeaway. Since I was visiting family I decided to order a variety of food to share. I had ordered Crispy Chicken 12 oz. X - Large (Pepper), King Oyster Mushroom, Hot Chips, Taiwanese Stewed Pork Rice, and Bento Box With Chicken Nuggets. First time I had tried this massive piece of chicken. Only a small bone to contend with, it was nice and juicy and delicious pepper coating to it. The mushrooms were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The chips had a nice flavouring to them. The pork rice is always yummy especially for a winter's day. Bento box is hearty and excellent value. It includes the pork rice, a choice of meat, beans, and half an egg. Service was lovely and efficient. This place does only accept cash.

Cheers Cut is a new taiwanese fried place that just opened in Burwood. It's located in Murray Place arcade near Subway and Cha Time just a short walk from Burwood station. I tried their 12 oz fried chicken with added chilli powder. The chicken is definitely huge though I didn't take any pictures as I was famished. Found the chicken juicier, crispier and I liked it more than hotstar as the bone to meat ratio is better. Will definitely go back to try their beef and seafood versions. edit: Have been back a couple times. Definitely recommend getting the chilli powder on it instead of the sauce.
