The Village Bistro Greenmount - Bury

This restaurant has quickly become my favorite place to eat. It's conveniently located close to my home in Summerseat, so I can easily walk there. I've dined there at all times of the day, and the food is consistently excellent. The staff are friendly, and the restaurant has a real local charm. The prices are very competitive and offer great value for money, especially since there is no alcohol license, which helps keep prices low. I can't speak highly enough of this place. I was a bit let down by the serving size of the fillet stroganoff. I ordered the regular size and it was just enough, any smaller would have been disappointing for the price of £17.95. I was surprised to find risotto rice instead of the expected rice, but it ended up tasting like rice pudding. The steak and sauce were delicious and perfectly cooked. I can only imagine how small the smaller portion size must be. The service was for takeout and the meal was for dinner. The price per person was between £10-20. I would rate the food as a 3 out of 5.

The food is freshley cooked as you wait. You have to take your own drinks with you but there's a coop on the shopping precinct. Parking: There's parking at the front of the bistro and at both ends of the shopping blocks. This was mine and my partners first visit and are looking forward to visiting again soon . I personally had the best pasta dish I've ever had tagliatelle based and full of flavour so delicious we both had 3 courses each and it cost just over £50 for us both and seriously we'll worth every penny when you are served food that has real full flavour that these meals have its not to be missed .
