Freedom Farms Farmers Market

I sometimes buy from Freedom Farms at the Bloomfield Farmer's Market and usually their stuff is good and fairly priced. Their fruit is sometimes hit-or-miss. Last weekend however on 8/31 they were selling nectarines for $1 a piece, a reduced price. They all looked and felt good so I bought six. All six of them were rotten inside. Did Freedom Farms know this and so they reduced the price to offload them?

Very nice time enjoying a family gathering. Food and drinks were great. Greenhouse setup was clean and cozy. Everyone enjoyed themselves so much.

We've stopped in a couple of times. They have buckwheat honey, which we prefer and is hard to find. Also, they have a selection of locally grown grains used to make different flours, including bread and pastry flour. And corn meal. Last week we bought white peaches that were excellent.

Amazing local produce and meat. some of the best tomatoes I've had outside of my own garden. live music and nice atmosphere. everyone is super friendly
