Asia Buffet - Butte

We were greeted warmly and promptly seated. However, we soon realized that the food selection was quite limited. While they offered the usual options, nothing really stood out. One thing we found peculiar was the behavior of the customers; they didn't linger or enjoy their meals. It seemed like as soon as they finished eating, they left without chatting or taking their time. It was rather unusual. The server who attended to us also cleaned the tables, yet we didn’t see him telling anyone to finish everything on their plates. There were only two families with children, and instead of prompting them to clean their plates, he went out of his way to express his gratitude towards them.

Asia Buffet is a local favorite. When you visit a buffet, you often don’t expect much, but we consistently find a great selection of hot, fresh, and delicious food here. The owners are very friendly, and the establishment is clean and well-organized. The only downside is that there's an overwhelming amount of food. I truly appreciate that the owners don’t tolerate any nonsense from customers, which earns them extra points in my book. If you have a terrible attitude, this place isn't for you. If you're the type to waste food or complain about prices, please stay home. However, if you're looking for a diverse range of tasty dishes in a beautiful, clean, and peaceful environment, then you should definitely give it a try! It’s well worth the $15. I have nothing but respect for this place; it’s probably my favorite restaurant in Butte.

The food is always fresh and consistent. The table service is prompt and friendly. I understand why a buffet restaurant typically doesn’t allow takeout boxes. However, if someone has overfilled their plate and is unable to finish, what’s the harm in letting them take a bit home?
