Stomping Grounds Grille - BUZZARDS BAY

We had another delicious and fun evening. Dave Yaeger was playing guitar. Our friends enjoyed Charlie's chowder which is chock full of lobster, scallops, shrimp and fish. I had the swordfish Nantucket that has a Marsala sauce, shrimp and scallops on top. It was perfectly cooked and delicious. My friend had the Mediterranean stew that came overloaded with everything and so tasty. Her husband had the special of the night which was a filet of sole preparation that he loved. My husband had the chicken Oscar which has a chicken filet topped with lobster tail, asparagus and Bearnaise sauce. What a winning combination. Leanne was our waitress and was so efficient and friendly. Charlie was the chef and prepared everything beautifully. We love bringing friends here. Stomping Grounds Grille never disappoints! I can't wait until the next time!

As always Helene, Charlie and Marni were exceptional. We brought friends with us and the guys had Charlie's chowder that is fabulous. So thick with seafood. Our friend Mike said it was the best he has ever had. Us ladies split the mussels which were sweet with great wine and garlic. Both of us ladies had the Carpet Bagger which is an amazingly tender filet mignon with lobster tail and bernaise sauce. It was outstanding and my friend was so happy I recommended it. She ate everything. My husband had the chicken oscar that is so delicious as well chicken breast with lobster tail, asparagus and bernaise sauce. Mike had the scallops and cheese. He said it was great and neither of them let each other taste their dishes because it was so good. Mike had the bread pudding and we heard it was fabulous but again no one got to taste it...haha. We just love bringing people with us because we know it's going to be a delicious and fun time.

Everything was terrific. The wait staff and chef were awesome.

We love it! They bought us a round of drinks to say thank you for being back. The beer selection is awesome and I'm recommending the Crafty Radler to Charlie for when they read this. It has such a cozy and charming atmosphere and the food is consistently fantastic.
