Something Different. If you are after a quality meal away from the Grills, chips and steaks this is worth a visit. Take your partner and have a quality night out with reasonable good food. Costly but you are in a tourist town and a resort to boot.

This place is a real find, I'm so glad I wandered into the Cable Beach Resort and stumbled upon it. Beautiful oriental decor and nice lighting, excellent service and a top notch Italian menu offering primi, pasta, secondi, contorni and dolce. One read of the menu made me realise this place was the real deal, and promised to offer some quality food. I had a grappa cured salmon dish with beetroot, goats cheese feta, watercress and apple for entree, and a prawn and crab meat pasta which was also delicious and so fresh-tasting. Wow! We had to wait until 8:30 PM to get a table at this highly sought-after restaurant in the Cable Beach Resort, as we hadn't made a reservation. The entire experience from start to finish was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and offered great suggestions from the menu. I ordered the sweet potato gnocchi, which was rich in flavor and absolutely delicious. However, the highlight of the meal was the chocolate bavarois; it was one of the best desserts I've had anywhere. The dark chocolate mousse had a heavenly filling and was presented on a base of silky smooth chocolate bavarois, surrounded by bits of homemade chocolate honeycomb... yum, yum, yum!
