I asked the kid next door in the pharmacy, which I think his uncle owns both places. He said Vicky is gone. That's too bad, she's been there for a few years and always did an amazing job. The food is great, my wife loves the shrimp tacos.
Locals love the place. Good tacos open late for the bar crowd. Very inexpensive great value. Shrimp tacos are my favorite. Chicken tacos are the best in town.
If you are looking for the authentic, daily food of the Mexicans who live in Mexico, stop on by to Tacos Vicky. Or maybe it is Tacos Tony. The big sign outside says Vicky, but inside is Tony so who knows. What I do know if that they do a good job on tacos al pastor and carne. Great taco bar with all that you need to make your taco unique. Be careful with the red peppers though - don't know what they saute them in but they are hot!!! If you are looking for cheap good eats, this is the place to go. Think Asi y Asada with less atmosphere and less cost.
