Mercedes Munoz a mother of three was determined to create an authentic Mexican restaurant in the heart of southern Missouri. It is a hidden gem that most do not know, as it is in the heart of a small town, Cabool. I'm looking forward to the next time I come back to the river. Huge Fan!!!. I absolutely love this place. I dine hear more than any other restaurant and love the help here, good friendly people. El Imperial is a family owned business and the food is well prepared and comes to your table very hot. The salsa and chips are excellent. If you like Mexican food, you have to give this place a try. You will have the most friendly and professional help waiting on you, to make sure that your every need is met. I Love You Guy's!!!

Delicious!!! I've visited this restaurant several times in the past while in the area, and the food and service have always been excellent. My sister and I stopped by today and noticed they’ve updated the menu with some new recipes. I can't rave enough about the food. We're both from St. Louis and have tried countless Mexican restaurants, but this one has taken the top spot for me today. They now serve a selection of Mexican beers and margaritas, which I always like to try wherever I go. OMG!!! This was by far the best margarita I’ve ever had!!! No cheap sour mix used here! Ugh! I just wish I didn’t live so far away!

Great food and excellent service! It's a lovely venue to enjoy a meal and spend quality time with family.
