The food was amazing, cooked perfectly, and so well seasoned. I would have licked the plates if it was socially acceptable! Excellent service from the staff and calm atmosphere too.Food: 5/5

Its a good enough place with good food but I was really unimpressed by my card being charged extra money for the tip. I realize I left less than 10 on the receipt for the tip but I left cash as well to split it up. I wasn't very happy with my card being charged the difference for the standard tip. That's actually really tacky, unethical, and unprofessional and I'll not be coming back. Which is is a bummer because we liked the food and band that played a lot. But...that's just some tacky business.

Rose was a great server, but a bit relaxed and prolonged. The atmosphere is nice but kinda bare in the back. The long bar seems like the place to hang with not a seat available when I entered.I had the appetizer special of coconut shrimp, it was great and crunchy, with a sweet and sour sauce. The special of catfish is not a recommendation, it was very mushy. I did enjoy the sides of risotto but the vegetables were very watery and the amount of oil on the plate was in abundance and not necessary.The cinnamon girl hard cider is not a recommendation. The cinnamon is not very strong but it does complete against the apple and takes away from the crispness that I like.The creme Brule was not properly prepared and very runny and the top tasted burnt.There are pool tables to spend some time at with a group of friends.

I have never recived such poor service at a restaurant. My husband and I were seated within a couple of minutes of walking through the door and then promptly ignored for the rest of the time we were there. We were at our table for over twenty minutes with no service; a waiter never even came to our table and said hello . Wait staff served and bused tables around us and even served multiple tables that were seated 10-15 minutes after us without even acknowledging our presence. We finally gave up and told the host we were leaving without having even gotten the chance to try and order drinks or anything and why we were leaving and he didn 't care at all. Just told us thanks for coming in. We understand staffing, especially in restaurants, has been challenging and are very forgiving of that, but to completely ignore your customers is ridiculous. This was our first and last visit. We should have known we were in for issues when there were empty tables everywhere at 6:30 on a Friday night.

We went on a Friday night. We called ahead to see if they had availability and were told they had “three tables available.” We drove there in less than five minutes. They only had three tables filled. The rest of the restaurant was empty! For an $18 burger, it was good but not $18 good. It was maybe an $8 burger. When it came time to pay our waiter said, “I’m sorry; however, if you pay with a card, there’s a %2.8 fee.” That would have been good to open with. Two burgers, a root beer and a beer came to $50. Next time we will go across the street to Clam Lake or to the Cadillac Grille.
