Bongo - Cadiz

Carlos an excellent waiter. We are from Northern California with an apt in Cadiz. We’ve eaten here many times at all seasons. Don’t understand the negative reviews. We have experienced many wait staff through the years and all have been excellent. Friendly and caring and a smile on their faces. This visit we told Carlos we planned to eat slowly and enjoy the people walking by. He did not disappoint. We even ordered more throughout the evening. This is a tourist trap, catering to the cruise trade. The prices are not Cádiz prices and the atmosphere is get them in and out. Location is in front of the Cathedral so they think they got it made, I would never go back there. There are so many better restaurants for half the price and you also feel that your part of the family. Avoid like the plague.

Came today with partner, ordered drinks, given time to read menu. I had prawn burritos which were amazing. Partner had burger which again was amazing. Both dishes reasonably priced but good quality. Lovely spot to catch the afternoon sun in. Staff were on it. Thanks.

Una maravilla de lugar para comer, muy amables, todo muy rico y El camarero Carlos que nos atendió muy atento. Platos muy bien presentados y con un sabor exquisito. Ambiente cubano con unas vistas hermosas al salir a la puerta. VOLVERÉ SEGURO

Pudo haber sido una mejor experiencia, pero el servicio y atención fue de baja calidad. Muestra orden fue: (1) Taco de carrillera. (1) Croquetas de chicharrón. (1) Revuelto de huevo con chicharrón y salmorejo, (1) Entrecot de ternera. Los platillos los sirvieron sin llevar un orden. De las tres personas que ordenamos, dos de ellas ya habían terminado de comer y el Entrecot de ternera aún no está listo. Además los precios está un poco elevados para las porciones que te sirven.
