Ossobuco - Cadiz

This restaurant is really cold and not welcoming but as we had just arrived in Cadiz and it had ok reviews we tried it we were the only customers in the restaurant which isnt reassuring. The waiter was pleasant and as menu was in spanish we were pretty much guessing at what to have on the menu, surely it would be easy to have an english translation of the menu and it would make life easier for the staff also. The waiter gave us some complimentary deep fried sweet potato chips served with mayonnaise which were lovely. My husbands dinner was ok but my chicken stuffed with ham was rubbery not really good quality ingredients. It would help if the restaurant had some nice decor or more customers to give it some atmosphere, we might have stayed longer.

It's a small and pretty restaurant and very nice to eat some tapas over there. I found it really sad that it was empty most of the time, because its a good place to be. The fresh quality, the price and the service is absolutely awesome but it would be great to have an english menu for those who are not able to understand spanish. ; I would definetly recommend to visit that small place!

We had breakfast here and was only 3 euros for 2 people for coffee and toast with Spanish ham and tomato

I was having breakfast here many times. For 1,50€ you can get a coffee and a media tostada con tomate a half of a bread with home-made tomato sauce. The coffee was super too. The restaurant is cozy and made in a alternative style. A few times we went there to have a wine and a tapa, for 2€ you can get a glas of wine and a variety of tapas. Awesome and thanx.

Awesome fresh all natural pins colada. Wonderful food and very helpful and friendly wait and server staff.
