Eating was really nice, small portions for the price, drinks expensive, staff and service fantastic.

Can't just say wonderful meal because everything was wonderful. that was nice to eat. I had pre-ordered my main course because of an allergy, and that was good. my main course (bef) was beautiful and the kartoffels .. I need the recipe. in the future the staff are so friendly. we were shown on our table and served free house made brot, oliven and balsamico. neropasso was our red wine of choice, it is amazing. we both chose an appetizer, the mushroom and chocolate soup was great! both pornstars - bark and lamb were perfect, the brot and the butter gloom beautiful. all about our evening was great. thanks to the staff. it makes an evening from a certain tasty bite!

This is the first time we visited this restaurant and we have booked to celebrate velntine’s day again. the food was excellent (I can highly recommend the fish cake and the sticky toffee pudding! the staff were all very friendly, attentive and efficient,...and the restaurant itself has a very cozy, intimate feeling about it. this is a hidden gem in brighouse!

Hello, return visit to chalk on Saturday before christmas, good as always, delicious and seasonal eating, coupled with fantastic service, can not recommend enough. the millers visits today for Sunday dinner, always a pleasure. my thanks to the kitchen and bar teams they work nicely. Together to offer great food and service, in a very pleasant and relaxed environment.

Just a great place to spend Xmas eve in a modern British restaurant with such an inspired menu selection. As one of our party required gluten free this was recognized immediately and a separate menu provided. The special Xmas Fayre was great value at per head for a courses. The food was also special. The braised steak dish was just outstanding. Finally the staff were ALL just wonderful Happy Noel to all of you.
