Symposium Cafe Restaurant & Lounge

JEN provided excellent service at the restaurant. The food was delicious and she was very attentive and friendly. It was a wonderful evening overall.

I took my son out for breakfast a few weeks ago and we were seated quickly. It was evident right away that the restaurant was short-staffed, but that seems to be the norm these days so no big deal. The waitress who showed us to our table took our drink order as our waiter was busy. When our waiter finally came over, his uniform was extremely dirty, it looked like it hadn't been washed in weeks. Despite this, he was friendly and took our order. Our food arrived about 40 minutes later. My son ordered a 3-egg omelette and enjoyed it, while I ordered eggs Benedict which was just okay. The Hollandaise sauce wasn't great, the English muffin was hard and stale, and the Canadian bacon was very tough. I ate it because I was hungry and the restaurant was busy. It took about 20 minutes to get our bill and pay after we finished eating. Overall, I won't be returning to this restaurant. The only positive aspect was that the staff was friendly and seemed to be trying their best.

During a sunny afternoon, the terrace was quiet, but the staff was friendly and the service was quick. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were good. A delightful place to satisfy hunger!

Stopped in at 10:00 am for breakfast. Coffee, poached egg on English Muffin with peameal bacon. Waitress very friendly. Great service. Hot coffee. Tasty.
