Írjon visszajelzéstMy experience was years ago. I always hope I was the bad customer. However, time proves, I am not. I want to recall the story so the owner might remember. We came in as 2 people but I was the only one wanted to eat, we place only 1 order. I had taken every chance speaking Vietnamese. Unfortunately, I first thought it was the viet speaking staff had issue with vietnamese guest. Anyways, I waited until I came to the til and pay. I approach the cashier and asking for the owner. She claimed she was the one. I told her my experience that the staff was giving me a sense of discrimination. She responsed to me that she does not care or need business from any guest giving feedback . For the whole time, she did not realize I could speak English. Before I leave the store, I spoke out loud in front of all the Caucasian diners, if you choose to discriminate your own people, why bother running the place in the mall call LITTLE SAIGON Unfortunately, It is shameful to see you run the vietnamese cuisine. If you want to be white, act more professional and get more knowlege in hospitality. A gesture of providing service to disability is not even established.
First time visiting Pho Dau Bo. Overall, it's a decent little spot to grab a bowl of soup. We did find that the portions are smaller than other pho restaurants we've been to, and a bit pricier as well $18.00 for a large satay pho). The flavors were wonderful though, and the doughnut stick to eat with it was different and fun.Atmosphere was different. Playing heavy EDM music at 4:00pm. Other than that, it's a standard place to grab some pho. Service was good, no issues getting what we needed.
First and last time I order from this place on Ubereats. It was close to $20 for a large pho, but I thought it would be worth it due to the high reviews on UberEATS. DO NOT BE FOOLED.This entire order was $60, and half of it was a bag of bean sprouts. This honestly feels like a joke and I've never experienced this with any other Pho restaurant. It’s quite the feat, just look at the size of that quarter meatball. But don’t worry, you get three of them in a large pho (if you pay $2 to upgrade .But the most frustrating part is the small noodle portions. Why cheap out on noodles? Noodles cost pennies on the dollar, but here I am inconveniently cooking my own egg noodles because they provided 1/2 an inch of egg noodles in the smallest take out container they could find.I'm at a loss for words to express my disappointment with this restaurant.Stay away._____________________________________________________________UPDATE: Normally I wouldn’t waste my time doing an update, but the restaurant is doubling down on being cheap in their response, so here it is:First, the egg noodles came standard with the beef stew, there was no upgrade requested, check your order notes. And let’s run using your logic, it’s “technically” not a FREE if you give a quarter of the portion. Secondly, listen to yourself nickle and dime NOODLES.I don't care if it’s rice noodles or egg noodles, it’s literally one of the cheapest food items in the world. The portion shown in the picture is what? 10 cents? Would it kill your margins on an $18 pho to add a bit more so people don't have to cook their own food to supplement the small portions? The order total with Uber eats fees, tax, and tip came to basically $60. I can post the receipt. But your point is fair, it was only $47.50 without taxes from the restaurant. But I would argue that even at $47.50, these are unacceptable portion sizes.Which is why this is disappointing, because you can’t see seem to understand why someone would be upset for receiving baby sized portions, when Pho is notorious for large portions. If this your normal sized portion (with Dine-in , then I can truly understand why there are so many other 1 star reviews saying the same thing.I don’t particularly care that UberEATS is expensive, but I like the convenience. It’s just simply really inconvenient to have to cook my own noodles because you couldn’t be bothered to add (10 cents more? worth of noodles.By the way, the salad rolls ARE in the pictures. They are in that tiny brown box.I get it, UberEATS also takes a big cut from your revenues. But when you markup your items 30% to make up the revenues, don’t also reduce portions by 50%, and blame the customer. Would YOU be satisfied with this portion size?At the end of the day, I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves, and let others decide if that’s enough of a portion for them.Kid-friendliness: The large portions are perfect for kids under 5 and infants.
I always liked Pho Dau Bo, I visited recently for lunch and it was amazing!I tried beef rib pho for the first time, it came with 2 large beef ribs, it was stewed to tender, meat fell off the bone but still had good texture. It came with dipping sauce, which is kind of like fish sauce based sweet and tangy sauce, it was delicious! I also had fried donut for the first time and it tasted fresh and I liked to dip it into my soup, especially good with satey soup.Service was friendly and quick, price was reasonably priced in my opinion. There is free parking in front of the strip mall, the parking is not huge but I find it helpful. They get quite busy around lunch/dinner time big I believe they do not take reservation.I highly recommend this place!
I have been wanting to try out this resto especially that they have the bone marrow that you can eat with your pho. It is a bit on the pricier side compared to other viet resto. We ordered a large bowl of pho (fall off the bone beef), bone marrow and the beef with rice and egg. The pho was great, the bone marrow was okay (I was expecting more flavor), and the beef with the rice was just fine, nothing really special. Btw, the tea is not for free. When we arrived the server asked us if we wanted water or tea but did not disclose that the tea was not for free. We thought it was free like other Asian resto.? We would still come back for the pho and I want to try out their coffee for next time.
