Regrub Burger Bar - Calgary

Visited Regrub after hearing from a friend about her shakes, although I was disappointed when they were made of vegetable milk and vegan burgers. Not a good first impression. Hopefully this was the result of a great influx of people who eat vegans, unlike the bad administration of inventory.

Quite disappointed... went here with a friend and was quite excited to try this place. I ended up with a plant-based milkshake and one over Fleischburger. The Shake was so gritty and warm. nothing special with the burger either... $15.00 for JUST one beyond Fleischburger no pages or anything else. I could have made a better burger at home. They also don't tell you the prices online, so I was shocked I went to see the prices.

We wanted the black beans Quinoa Burger and they either don't have it anymore or not at the moment. Ends to the beyond burgers and it was quite lack of shine.

I'd give this zero star if I could. Cross contamination nightmare and a lack of cleanliness to fear. Don't waste your time. Long waiting times, deorganized, totally rotted.

Similar to the other review, wait time seemed to be an issue and I wasn’t there at peak time at all. The other complaint from the other reviewer was around price. Yes, it’s expensive, but it’s definitely an over the top novelty sort of experience not a place you’d hit up particularly often. Note there is currently one vegan burger option (very tasty! , and three vegan shake options. The pic I uploaded is of the ‘basic’ vegan shake... the others would be even more outrageous. One is topped with a full size slice of vegan cheesecake... craziness! The food was awesome and delicious. Only rating a three because it’s a meat heavy place although they’re doing a great job accommodating in my books. Why oh why don’t they just make the switch to 100% plant based??
