Saffron Fine Indian Take Out - Calgary

AMAZING!!. Have been eating here for a long time now and am constantly impressed by the quality of saffron's food! The prices are great considering the amount of food you get in the entree size and the customer service is five star. Nice family run business, I would definitely recommend this joint to every Indian cuisine lover.

Wish I'd known about this place before now!. Oh. My. Word. I just finished eating Saffron's food and I think I'm in love. I was a bit adventurous and tried a couple of dishes that were new to me aloo gobhi (spicy cauliflower and potato) and saag paneer (mildy spicy spinach and paneer). The meal came with basmati rice and probably the freshest piece of naan I've ever had. The service was quick and very friendly, which is a huge plus for me, but then this delicious food on top of that?! Wow. I've lived near Saffron for a long time and I regret not eating here before.<br/ <br/ Just to clarify, they do take out only. The storefront is very clean and neat and they have a selection of vegetarian and meat dishes that varies day to day. The menu says you get two pieces of gulab jamun for $3.50, but they offer three in a container for the same price. <br/ <br/ Seriously, try this place. I am very happy that I can get this great food so close to home!

I absolutely LOVE Saffron. This is my go-to place for Indian food. The coconut chicken, saffron chicken, and daal dishes are to die for. As is the roti. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants authentic, home cooked Indian food.
