Savour - Calgary

I always mourn the seemingly lack of great French food in Calgary. And then there is Savour! WOW! The best croissant I have had in Calgary, EVER! The espresso was incredible too. Check this place out.

French chef Éric is a wonderful addition to this Café in Calgary. He makes the best bread and pastries that I have ever eaten outside of France.

I have been going to Savour for some time now as the food is fantastic as is the coffee& the ambiance is just right. Their signature salad "Savour" is special ,very fresh with so much taste. I also love their Smoked Salmon Vegetable dish served on a skillet with egg yolk. All the sandwiches & pastries are amazing as well. .Because i loved their food so much I asked Anh the owner if they would prepare a dinner for a private function at their restaurant. Anh & Eric, the chef ,surprised all of us with a beautiful six course meal which included a crab pastry ,salmon & white fish on a pasta & for the main course duck .The desserts were incredible as well..Anh & Eric are so pleasant & thoughtful it made for a very memorable evening. A great place to enjoy.

Not cheap but fresh and tasty. For $20 had two breakfast-type brioches, one tea and one coffee. The new chef appears to be appealing to more and more people.

A very fashionable french restaurant,,,it takes you back to a breakfast in Paris...good food at reasonable prices...
